Issue of new shares

Climate Exchange plc (CLE), today announces that 299,960 ordinary shares of 1p each were issued to a former employee of the company under the terms of his employment contract. Admission of these shares to listing is expected to become effective on 23 March 2009.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue immediately following this issue will be 47,412,111.
