Avanti Communications Group Plc (AIM: AVN), the satellite operator, announces
that it has today received notification from Caledonia Investments plc that it
purchased a further 325,133 ordinary shares in the Company on 25 February 2008.
Caledonia Investment plc now holds 6,488,434 ordinary shares in Avanti
Communications, being approximately 23.42% of the issued ordinary share capital
of the Company.

     of its satellite construction, launch, insurance and operation together 
     with ample working capital headroom.  No further funding is required for 
     the HYLAS project.
