                        TNS acquires Prospera in Sweden


Taylor Nelson Sofres plc (TNS), a world leader in market information and
insight, announces that it has acquired Prospera Research AB.

Established in 1985, Prospera is based in Stockholm and has a strong reputation
as the leading provider of syndicated services for the finance sector in Sweden.
The acquisition allows TNS to build further syndicated services in the finance
sector and to extend these across the Nordic region and other markets in Europe.

David Lowden, Chief Executive of TNS, said: "TNS already has a strong position
in Sweden's finance sector. This acquisition makes TNS the market leader in
research for commercial banks and insurance companies. It is also in line with
the group's strategy to increase its proportion of syndicated services."

Following the acquisition, Agneta Elvesdtedt, continues as Managing Director of
TNS Prospera.

The consideration for the acquisition has been satisfied by the allotment and
issue, credited as fully-paid up, of 560,022 ordinary shares of 5 pence in TNS.
Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for the new shares to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be
admitted to the Official List. The shares shall rank pari passu with the
existing issued shares of the company and it is expected that dealings will
commence at 08.00 today.

Propsera's gross assets at 31 December 2007 were £0.48 million (SEK:£ 12.5798).
