TNS strengthens its international Media Intelligence network through acquisition
of PressWatch in Germany
Taylor Nelson Sofres plc (TNS) announces the acquisition of PressWatch GmbH, the
reference for media monitoring and evaluation services in Germany, reinforcing
its European media intelligence activities.
Based in Hamburg, PressWatch GmbH was founded in 1999. Its high quality
information service is used by a strong, blue-chip client base. The company
operates a range of specialised services: digital clippings from over 1,000
print publications, monitoring of 7,000 national and international online media
sites, media response analysis and sponsoring evaluation. Revenue for year ended
31 December 2006 was £2.4 million and gross assets at that date were £1.1
