Retirement of Non-Executive Director, Professor Neil Hood CBE

Xansa, the outsourcing and technology company, announces that Professor Neil
Hood CBE, Non-executive Director, will be retiring from the Company's Board at
its Annual General Meeting on 15 September 2005, due to his continuing

Commenting on his retirement, Bill Alexander, Chairman, said:

"Neil joined the Board in July 1997 and is Xansa's longest serving Non-executive
Director.  His considerable business experience has helped the Company many
times during its development.  Neil's enthusiasm and commitment will be sorely
missed by his colleagues and we look forward to his return to full health."
