                                 Board changes


The board of Taylor Nelson Sofres plc (TNS), a world leader in market
information, announces the following board changes.


Rob Rowley will stand down as a non-executive director of the company at the end
of this year, due to pressure of other commitments.


Paul Murray, who joined the board in May 2005, will take over the role of Senior
Independent Director from Mr Rowley with immediate effect.  Mr Murray is
Chairman of the TNS audit committee and a member of the remuneration committee.


Commenting on these changes, Tony Cowling, Chairman of TNS, said:  "Rob has been
a highly valued member of the board since he was appointed as a non-executive
director in 2002 and we will miss his wise counsel.  Paul has made a significant
contribution to board discussions since he joined in May and we are pleased that
he has agreed to take on the role of Senior Independent Director."
