Appointment of Non-Executive Directors

The Board of Singer & Friedlander AIM 3 VCT PLC are pleased to announce the
appointments of Mr Dominic Wheatley (age 45) and Mr David Page (age 52) as
independent non-executive directors of the Company with effect from 1st August
2004.

Dominic Wheatley

Mr Wheatley has over twenty years of experience in the computer software
industry. He left CBH & Partners (Advertising and Promotions Agency) in 1984 to
form Domark Software, a company which specialised in the publishing of games and
products for personal computers and video game consoles. Between 1992 and 1995
he established a US office for Domark. Domark was reversed into a small USM
listed research company, listed on the London Stock Exchange and changed its
name to Eidos Interactive. He was Chief Executive of Eidos Interactive in the US
and Chief Operating Officer of Eidos Plc until the end of 1996.

He is currently a non-executive director of Statpro plc and Telecom Plus plc,
and Chairman of Highway Capital plc and Kuju plc.

In early 2002 he was co-founder of Bright Things plc which is developing a
unique new gaming platform and was listed on AIM in April 2004.

There are no details requiring disclosure in relation to Mr Wheatley under
paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the UKLA Listing Rules.

David Page

Mr Page was formerly Chief Executive of PizzaExpress plc, having been involved
with that company for over 25 years. From 1973 he was a major shareholder and
the Managing Director of the largest PizzaExpress franchise group, which floated
in 1993. He was Managing Director on floatation of the business, became Chairman
in 1997 and moved to the position of Chief Executive in 2002.

He is now Chairman of The Clapham House Group plc which floated on AIM in
November 2003 and has since acquired The Real Greek Food Company and The Bombay
Bicycle Club.

There are no details requiring disclosure in relation to Mr Page under paragraph
6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the UKLA Listing Rules.
