News Release

19 August 2003

Stockbroker Hoodless Brennan opts for QuoteTerminal

Hoodless Brennan & Partners Plc, stockbrokers specialising in the AIM and
smaller company market, is the most recent City firm to subscribe to
QuoteTerminal, the live UK financial news and data service provided by Knowledge
Technology Solutions PLC (KTS).

Hoodless Brennan opted for QuoteTerminal because it provides a powerful,
user-friendly market data application delivering first-rate financial prices and
news. In particular, the ease of installation and rollout of QuoteTerminal
within the organisation was an important attraction. Moreover, because
QuoteTerminal is internet-delivered, customers' monthly fees reflect the fact
that they do not have to meet the expense of installing dedicated networks and
servers on their sites.

A continued City recession has left financial institutions needing to economise.
Therefore, they have looked to alternative financial news and data systems which
provide the same quality information, but at a significant price discount to
comparable systems sold by the more traditional market data vendors. This is
why QuoteTerminal, with its modern internet ASP platform, has been successful in
quickly acquiring a growing portfolio of well-known City clients.

KTS has signed a number of deals with big City names for its QuoteTerminal
service since the beginning of 2003. Recently it announced that Charles Stanley
and Company Limited, Singer & Friedlander Investment Management Ltd and Williams
de Broe have bought QuoteTerminal licences.

QuoteTerminal is used by finance professionals in the UK and offers premium
news, data and analysis sourced from well-known providers such as ComStock, a
division of FT Interactive Data, Dow Jones Newswires, RNS News, JCF Group,
Hemscott and Exchange Data International.

Dr Marc Pinter-Krainer, Chief Executive of KTS, said:

'The demand for QuoteTerminal within our target market of City firms is
encouraging and emphasises its suitability as a professional market data system.
Our success in attracting QuoteTerminal clients proves it is possible to deliver
a high quality market data product that's secure and reliable at a price which
meets current market data budgets. We're pleased to welcome Hoodless Brennan as
a QuoteTerminal client.'

Richard Malkin, Finance Director of Hoodless Brennan, commented:

'QuoteTerminal meets all our needs in terms of functionality and reliability and
is extremely cost-effective. One of the great advantages of QuoteTerminal is
that we're spared the expense and disruption of installing any additional
computer networking infrastructure on site.'
