ASITE PLC

                        ASITE STRENGTHENS BOARD WITH NEW

                          IT AND CONSULTING EXPERTISE

Asite plc has appointed Tom Dengenis, Chief Operating Officer of Asite Solutions
Limited, and Mike Henry, Group Chief Technology Officer, to the board of
directors to augment its strength in IT and operations.

Former Commissioner of Labor and Industries and Associate Commissioner for
Highways for the State of Massachusetts, Tom Dengenis ran his own construction
fit-out company before joining KPMG's real estate consulting group in Boston
where he provided strategic consulting advice and e-commerce solutions for the
construction industry. In 2000 he moved to the UK to become chief executive of
Bidcom (UK) Limited.

Mike Henry was formerly IT director of back office systems for Credit Suisse
First Boston and chief information officer at PetroCosm Inc, the B2B marketplace
for the oil and gas industry. Mike has 15 years' experience of creating and
managing large-scale software systems and e-commerce applications for
multinational companies, including IBM, BP and Logica.

Sir John Egan, welcoming Tom and Mike to the Asite plc board, said 'Our
executive group now has strength in depth across construction, technology and
consulting to drive the business forward. Our increasing capabilities means
that clients can rely on Asite to provide crucial business solutions without the
time, capital or technology risks normally associated with implementing new IT
systems.'

Commenting on the appointments, executive board member of Asite plc and Managing
Director of Asite Solutions Limited, Alastair Mellon, said: 'Tom and Mike bring
a level of expertise in IT and strategic consulting that will enhance the
quality of business solutions we deliver for our clients, and that will support
Asite's continued course towards profit.'
