DAVID EWING APPOINTED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE FOUR SEASONS GROUP ('Four
Seasons') IN NORTH AMERICA
Ultraframe, Europe and North America's leading specialist designer and
manufacturer of conservatory roofing systems, has appointed David Ewing as
Chief Executive Officer of Four Seasons, the recently acquired US subsidiary
of Ultraframe. His appointment, together with becoming an Executive Director
on the Main Board, will commence on 17 September 2001.
Mr Ewing, aged 53 and a US citizen, has been a Non- Executive Director of
Ultraframe since June 2000. He has extensive experience of the North American
and international construction and remodelling industries. Initially trained
in the sales and marketing function, David has held senior general management
positions since 1985.
David was previously with FKI plc as President of the Hardware Division, a
$500m turnover group, operating in North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to
joining FKI, David was President of the Flow Control Group of Amcast
Industries Corp, a NYSE quoted company, and before that he held senior
positions in North America with BTR plc and Rockwell International.
David Moore, Group Chief Executive of Ultraframe, commenting on David Ewing's

Ultraframe will seek another Non- Executive Director to replace the position
vacated by Mr Ewing.
