Derby LEA Win

Learning Technology plc, Viglen Limited's('Viglen') parent company, today
strengthened its position in the education market when it announced its win
with Derby City Council. Following careful consideration in conjunction with
schools, Derby Education Service selected Viglen as its sole preferred
supplier for computers and networks.

Commenting today Sir Alan Sugar, Chairman of Learning Technology plc, said 'We
are pleased with this win as it further signifies the success we are having in
penetrating not just at school level, but also at local authority level, in
line with our company's stated strategy and direction. This win brings our
total to over 20 Local Education Authorities, that we either have sole
supplier status or preferred level status with'.

Welcoming the partnership, Bordan Tkachuk, Chief Executive of Learning

using our Classlink products to provide Derby schools with solutions to give

Viglen will now be strongly recommended as supplier of choice to all 108
schools within Derby. The deal further strengthens Viglen's position as the
fastest growing ICT solutions provider to the UK education market.
