KOMERCNI BANKA INCLUDED IN THE FTSE ALL-WORLD INDEX
On Friday 30 June 2000 Komercni banka will be included in the newly developed
FTSE All-World Index. FTSE Indexes are widely used by international investors
and the inclusion of Komercni banka in the FTSE All-World Index will raise the
visibility and encourage further investment in Komercni banka from international
investors who use the FTSE indexes. Now that Komercni banka is a constituent in
the FTSE All-world Index, Komercni banka automatically becomes included in other
indexes calculated within the FTSE Family of Indexes.
FTSE is owned by the London Stock Exchange and the Financial Times and is one of
the world's leading experts in the creation and management of equity indexes.
The newly developed All-world Index covers approximately 2,600 stocks from 49
countries. Values for the FTSE All-World Index are published daily in the
Financial Times as well as in selected worldwide publications. End of day index
values will be found on Reuters and Bloomberg systems.
