Trading Statement

Perthshire Leisure PLC
11 February 2000

                 Perthshire Leisure Plc

                    Trading statement

As has already been reported by many of the companies
operating in our sector of the leisure market, trading on
New Year's Eve was very disappointing. This has led to a
significant shortfall in anticipated revenue and, coupled
with the very competitive conditions which night clubs
and late night bars have faced, the directors now
anticipate that the Company will report a pre-tax loss in
the region of £200,000 in the year ended on 31 December
1999 on turnover of £1.82m.However, despite this, the
Company still retains a strong asset base and has
substantial cash deposits and no borrowings.

Trading for the current year has started positively and
the significant increase in function business since the
re-furbished Legends was re-branded 'Lounge-jing at
Legends' is expected to continue. Abigail's Party
continues to be a popular venue and the directors are
pleased with the progress of the new Lounge-jing at Chalk
Farm, which opened just before Christmas.

The Company has incurred significant costs since it was
admitted to the Alternative Investment Market, both in
setting up an appropriate corporate infrastructure
capable of servicing a considerably larger number of
units and in developing two new brands, Lounge-jing and
Abigail's Party, which can easily be replicated
elsewhere. As a result, the directors are confident
that, provided it can obtain suitable sites for
development, the Company is well placed to move forward
in the coming year
