                         Room Service Group Plc (the 'Company')

Due to a computer software problem within the accounts department at Room
Service Group Plc, the interim results for the period ended 30th June 2002 are
not available for release today.

The Company apologises for this unforeseen system failure and will endeavour to
rectify the problem and release the results, at the latest, by Monday 14th
October 2002.
