Triad Group Plc 30 August 2006 Contract Award Triad Group Plc is delighted to announce it has been awarded a contract to design and develop a system to allow the transfer of electronic public records from government departments to The National Archives. The National Archives of England, Wales and the United Kingdom leads on records management policy with government and sets standards for archive management across the UK. The system is required to enable The National Archives to handle an expected dramatic increase in the amount of electronic records being received over the next few years within existing staff numbers. This project forms part of a programme of work set up to enable a seamless flow of digital records from creation in government departments, to preservation in the archives, through to delivery to the public on the Web. The programme involves linking together existing components of records preparation, transfer and automating manual processes. The design stage of the contract has been completed, with the development and implementation due for completion by April 2007. Up to 10 Triad staff will be involved in the project which will be delivered using Microsoft's .NET framework and SQLServer database and the AgilePoint Business Process Management System. The financial impact of this contract on the Company's results will be reflected in the results for the second half of the current financial year and the first half of the next financial year.
