Cross Licensing Agreement

RM PLC 13 June 2000 RM plc ANNOUNCES POTENTIAL CROSS LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH RIVERDEEP GROUP plc RM plc, the leading supplier of information and communications technology (ICT) software and services to UK education, announces that it is in discussions with Riverdeep Group plc ('Riverdeep') to enter into an agreement for both companies to license certain interactive learning software to each other. Riverdeep (Nasdaq: RVDP) is a leading provider of web based educational solutions in the United States through its web site www.riverdeep.net. Under the proposed agreement RM would license Living Library, its premium Internet content service, to Riverdeep for the US market. Riverdeep would similarly license its flagship online Destination Math interactive curriculum courseware to RM plc, localised to the UK National Currriculum.
