Reliance Security Group PLC 23 October 2003 23 October 2003 For immediate release Reliance Security Group plc ('Reliance') Contract Award - Health and Safety Executive The Directors of Reliance are pleased to announce that a consortium comprising Reliance Integrated Services Limited, Kajima Partnerships Limited and Honeywell Controls Systems Limited has been awarded a 30 year PFI contract to provide a fully serviced headquarters building for the Health and Safety Executive in Bootle, Liverpool. Reliance will be primarily responsible for servicing the new building and providing facilities management, including a help desk, security, access control and reception, grounds maintenance, portering, catering and cleaning. It is estimated that the contract will generate approximately £1.2 million of turnover for Reliance in a full year. Reliance expects to commence delivery of services in May 2005, following completion of construction. Barry Nealon, Chairman of Reliance Integrated Services Limited, commenting on the award of the contract, said: 'We are delighted to be embarking on this 30 year relationship with the Health and Safety Executive. We believe that our innovative approach to the delivery of a wide range of facilities management services was an important factor in the selection of the consortium.'
