PPHC: #1 in Lobbying Disclosure Act revenue rankings

Public Policy Holding Company, Inc., the government relations and public affairs group of companies providing a comprehensive range of advisory services, has retained the number one spot in the Lobbying Disclosure Act ("LDA") rankings, collectively reporting $17.1m of disclosed LDA revenue for the third quarter of 2023 ("Q3 2023").

The strong performance from its agencies, in particular Forbes Tate, Crossroads Strategies and Alpine Group, means that PPHC has led the LDA rankings in all three quarters of 2023, building on its market leading performance in 2022 where PPHC was market leader for the whole year.

Year to date, PPHC has registered $51.1m in disclosed revenue.

Individually, all three contributing PPHC agencies maintained their positions inside the top 20, with Crossroad Strategies and Forbes Tate being top 10 firms. They disclosed $6.3m in federal lobbying revenues each and climbed one position in the LDA rankings to #9 and #10 respectively. Meanwhile, Alpine Group maintained its strong performance and position at #17 on the list, registering $4.7m in federal lobbying revenue.

Encouragingly, PPHC's agencies have gone from strength to strength in 2023, not only retaining the #1 spot in all three quarters but also showing sequential growth. In Q1, Q2 and Q3 the agencies collectively reported $16.7m, $17.1m and $17.3m in federal lobbying revenue, leaving PPHC very well positioned to retain the top overall spot for 2023.

LDA revenue does not represent each of the three operating companies' total contribution to overall Q3 Group revenue. The performance does however show the inherent quality of PPHC's operating companies, which continually deliver top performances and consistently win industry awards, and employees, who gain significant recognition for their achievements.

The LDA applies to any entity or individual that lobbies at the federal level above certain thresholds and imposes registration and reporting obligations to ensure transparency. Disclosures under the act are publicly available and the rankings are released quarterly.

Stewart Hall, CEO of PPHC, commented:

"We are incredibly proud of our continued leadership of what is a very dynamic market for federal lobbying and government relations.  This year, perhaps like none other before it, has demonstrated just how critical ongoing engagement with federal and state policymaking is for our corporate and non-profit clients.  Despite the current leadership debate in the US House of Representatives, important work continues throughout the federal government on critical business issues such as AI regulation, energy transition, healthcare, defence and more.  More and more, clients are discovering the unique scale and strength of PPHC on these issues, making our firms and policy experts central to their efforts. "
