The Board are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Paul Sandford as a
director of the Company with effect from 16 March 2001.  Mr Sandford has been
appointed to the Board of Directors to replace his mother, Mrs Elodie
Sandford, who retires from her position as a director of the Company with
effect from 16 March 2001.

Mr Sandford is currently serving as Managing Director and Chairman of High Tor
Limited, a privately-held investment company which is operated from Nassau in
the Bahamas.  He has held the position of Managing Director since October
1999.  High Tor Limited has exposure on a global basis to public and private
equities, fixed income, gold, cash and real estate.  Mr Sandford has overall
responsibility for investment, strategic and operational decisions.

The Board consider that his expertise and experience will be beneficial to the
Company.

The Board can also confirm that he is not a director of any other publicly
quoted company and that there is no relevant information to disclose under
paragraph 6.F.2 of The Listing Rules, in relation to Mr Sandford's
appointment.
