Part VI of the Companies Act 1985 (the 'Act')

This letter is to notify you pursuant to Part VI of the Act that Credit Suisse
First Boston (Equities) Limited ('CSFB') of One Cabot Square, London E14 4QJ
pursuant to the exercise of an option granted to it in an underwriting agreement
dated 28th March 2001;

(a)  has ceased to be interested, as defined in section 208(5) of the Act, in   
     45,978,250 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of Michael Page       
     International plc;

(b)  is interested, as defined in section 208(4)(a) of the Act, in 45,978,250   
     ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of Michael Page International    
     plc.
