Transaction in Own Shares and Total Voting Rights 

Numis announces that on 1 October 2014 it acquired 45,000 (0.04%) Numis ordinary shares at a price of £2.3996 to be held in Treasury.

This transaction was carried out in accordance with the authority granted by Numis to its broker on 29 September 2014, which was the subject of a market announcement made on that day.  

As a result of the above the total number of Numis shares held in treasury is 5,783,591 (5.13%) and the number of remaining ordinary shares currently in issue is 112,654,945 which is the number which may be used by the shareholders as the denominator for calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interests in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
