Morgan Sindall SECURES £71 million AIRBUS CONTRact 

Morgan Sindall plc, the construction and regeneration group, today announces that its construction division, Morgan Ashurst, has won a £71 million contract with Airbus, the leading aircraft manufacturer, to build a wing assembly factory in Broughton, Flintshire.

The 52,300 sq metre facility will be used to assemble carbon fibre wings. Morgan Ashurst will be working alongside its sister company, Morgan Professional Services, which will provide architectural, civil and structural engineering design and the concept design for the mechanical and electrical services.

The project is expected to complete by October 2010.
