AGM Statement

Mission Testing PLC 7 November 2001 For immediate release 7 November 2001 Mission Testing plc AGM Statement, Trading Update and Board Change At the Annual General Meeting of the Company held at 3pm today the Chairman, Graham Pooley, made the following statement: Current Trading & Outlook 'The results for the year to 30 June 2001 which we announced in September demonstrated that our market position has continued to strengthen since our admission to AIM in December last year. At the time of the results announcement we remained confident that we were well positioned to continue an organic and acquisition driven growth strategy. Current trading remains comfortably in line with expectations and, although some reduction in the visibility of the order book is to be expected in the IT services market, we remain optimistic that we shall continue to make good progress this year.' Board Change 'David Abery has announced his intention to resign as Finance Director. David, who joined the Board to implement the flotation of the Company, has informed the Board of his desire to take on new challenges. David will remain as Finance Director until a suitable replacement is appointed and that process is already underway. On behalf of the Board I would like to thank David for the valuable contribution he has made to Mission Testing in its first year as a public company and we wish him every success in the future. The Resolution to reappoint David as a Director will still be proposed and David will continue to work with the Board to ensure an orderly hand-over of responsibilities to his replacement.' 'As the strategy of organic and acquisition driven growth continues, the skills and experience required for the business will change. The Board intends to review the skillsets within the Group as it grows to ensure that the Directors and management of the business are appropriate for each stage of the Company's development.' Summary 'Our first year as a public company has been a very successful one and we have achieved many of the objectives that we set out at the time of flotation. We will continue to focus on the opportunities to grow the business and to ensure that we strengthen our position whilst building value for our shareholders.'
