                               Additional Listing



The Company announces that 240,002 new Ordinary Shares of 1p each (the 'New
Ordinary Shares') have been issued and allotted to certain employees and
ex-employees following the exercise of EMI share options.



Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading
on AIM, and admission is expected to become effective at 8a.m. on Friday 16
January 2004.
