The Company has today been notified pursuant to the Companies Act 1985 that
Morley Fund Management Limited, a subsidiary of Aviva plc (formerly CGNU plc),
following the re-classification of stock from funds classed as material to funds
not classed as material, are to be regarded as having a material interest in
9,650,479 ordinary shares in Marshalls plc, representing 5.77% of the issued
share capital.
