Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange Plc and the Financial
Services Authority for 517,186 Ordinary shares of £1 each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List. It is expected that admission will be granted
on 18 June 2001 and that dealings will commence on 19 June 2001.

These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options
under the following schemes;

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
