Transaction in own shares and completion of buy-back programme

 

Crossrider (AIM: CROS), the creator of digital advertising platforms specialising in monetising web and mobile media through the use of big data, announces that, on 7 January 2016, it purchased 1,250,000 of its ordinary shares of USD 0.0001 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price per share of 54p. Crossrider purchased these shares through Shore Capital Stockbrokers Limited.

 

The number of shares purchased represented 0.88% of the voting rights attributable to the total ordinary shares in issue prior to such purchase. The purchased shares will be held in treasury.

 

Completion of buy-back programme

 

As previously announced the share buy-back programme was due to end on 8 January 2016 and accordingly, has now ended. The Company has acquired a total of 7,451,423 of its own shares for a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £4,051,511.21, equivalent to US$6 million at the current prevailing exchange rate.

 

The 7,451,423 shares acquired are equivalent to 5.0% of the Company's issued share capital on 19 November 2015, when the share buy-back programme commenced.

 

The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) following this announcement is 141,044,650. Crossrider holds 7,451,423 shares in treasury.
