The Independent Directors have noted the announcement today by the Consortium
regarding their confirmatory due diligence.

Since 13 April 2007, significant and appropriate levels of confidential
information and assistance have been provided to the Consortium and will
continue to be provided. The Independent Directors remain committed to fully
engaging with the Consortium in order that they can progress their possible
offer, within the context of the agreed process, for the benefit of all
shareholders.
