Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 15 July 2016 it purchased 350,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 186.71p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 192.5p and the lowest price paid was 186.0p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 240,808,799 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 195,110,690.
