Drilling Report

Eurasia Mining PLC 20 September 2000 * Drilling progress at Baronskoye * Potential second palladium zone soon to be drilled * New licence applied for over 330 square km adjacent to Baronskoye Eurasia Mining Plc is approaching the end of its current drilling programme at its Baronskoye Palladium-Gold Project. To date 30 holes, including two short redrills, have been completed for a total advance of 1625 metres in the Baronskoye Central area. Most holes are located on traverse lines 80 metres apart and are targeted on the dominant, linear zone of anomalous palladium soil geochemistry over a total strike distance of 760 metres extending to the north and south of the area drilled in early 1999. All holes have intersected zones of structural deformation, dyking and hydrothermal alteration in the targeted interval. These zones are similar in overall appearance to zones intersected in last years drilling, the results of which have been previously reported. Results have been received for four holes with the remaining core in various stages of the assaying process, with all results expected from the Canadian laboratories by around the end of October. These results show a maximum of .4 g/t palladium which is thought to reflect the deleterious impact of a high degree of post-mineralization faulting in these holes. All remaining holes need to be sampled and analysed before firm conclusions can be drawn and the next stage of work planned. However, the results so far indicate that closer spaced drilling may be required to fully assess the near surface potential of the mineralised zone. While awaiting the further assay results, the drill will move from the Baronskoye Central area some 2.3 kilometres to the south into the Kluevsky area within the Baronskoye licence area. Here it is planned to undertake scout drilling on a second palladium-gold zone located as the result of reconnaissance soil sampling carried out towards the end of 1999. A more intensive drilling campaign will be considered, with the objective of defining a new sub-surface project within the Baronskoye licence area, once the results are available of a 1000 sample soil geochemistry programme conducted this year over a potential strike length of 1.5 kilometres. Summer reconnaissance work has defined additional extensive areas of the Baronskoye rock formation in the Barantchinsky district immediately to the east of the existing Baronskoye licence area. An application has been lodged for a new Exploration Licence covering approximately 330 square kilometres. Mr Counsell said 'It is a most important aspect of our business to consolidate our interest in the Baronskoye area, to expand and optimise our exciting strategic position and create further scope for long term expansion and development as a significant PGM producer.'
