Update on COVID-19 and upcoming annual general meeting

Dublin, 20 April 2020 | As previously indicated, the annual general meeting of Dalata Hotel Group plc ("Dalata" or the "Group"), Ireland's largest hotel operator with a growing presence in the UK, is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 29 April 2020 at 11:30 am GMT at its offices at Burton Court, Burton Hall Drive, Sandyford, Dublin D18 Y2T8.

Following the Irish Government's extension of social distancing measures, the prohibition on non-essential travel and limitations on public gatherings to 5 May 2020 in response to the COVID-19 crisis, the AGM will be held as a closed meeting and shareholders will not be able to attend in person.

Dalata regrets the need to take this step, but it does so willingly to safeguard its shareholders' and employees' health and make the AGM as safe and efficient as possible.

Members' contributions at the AGM are valued, and shareholders are requested to use the proxy voting service and the methods explained below to participate in the meeting. Members are reminded that proxy votes must be submitted no later than 11:30 am GMT on Monday, 27 April.

Instructions on proxy voting are attached to the Notice of Meeting enclosed with the 2019 Annual Report already sent out to shareholders and can also be found on the Company's website: https://dalatahotelgroup.com/investors/shareholder-centre/year/2020#agm.

Voting:

Votes may be submitted in advance using one of the following options:

· via www.eproxyappointments.com

· postal voting

· via the CREST system where shares are held in CREST

Questions at the AGM

Members may submit questions relating to the business of the meeting in advance by email to [e-mail] or by post to the Company's registered office (in either case, to be received no later than Friday, 24 April).

Questions submitted using this mechanism will be addressed by the Chair at the meeting where possible.
