The following new investments have been made:-

Cool Beans Productions Limited - June 2000 - £2,250,000 (development capital
funding) commitment in total, £750,000 by Murray VCT 3 PLC, £444,000 by Murray
VCT PLC, £506,000 by Murray VCT 2 PLC, £550,000 by Murray VCT 4 PLC. Cool
Beans is an established digital animation studio which produces top quality
computer generated animation. Working with industry leaders, such as
Electronic Arts, Infogrames, Activision and Hasbro Interactive, Cool Beans has
recently produced full motion video (FMV) sequences on 'Carmageddon TDR-2000',
'Gorkamorka' and 'Hogs of War'. 
Stratumsoft Limited - June 2000 - £3,000,000 committed in total, £829,000 by
Murray VCT 3 PLC, £637,000 by Murray VCT PLC, £739,000 by Murray VCT 2 PLC,
£795,000 by Murray VCT 4 PLC. Stratumsoft is an e-commerce and virtual media
software designer. The company provides help to customers to implement,
integrate and develop e-commerce solutions together with technology which
enables the client to operate its site in digital television, PC and WAP
environments.


At 15 August 2000, Murray VCT 3 PLC had a portfolio of twenty-one investments,
at a cost of £14.55 million, which represents a qualifying investment level of
approximately 39%.
