Following the release of the First Half 1999 preliminary figures of the
Saint-Gobain Group, an Analysts' meeting is to be held in Paris-La Defense at
8:30 a.m. (Paris time) on Wednesday, July 23, 1999.

In order to enable as many people as possible to watch this meeting, it will be
broadcast on the Internet, 'on line' from 8:30 a.m. (Paris time), and 'on
instant replay' from 11:00 a.m. (Paris time).
