Annual General Meeting - Statement

At Cenkos Securities plc's Annual General Meeting, held this afternoon, the following statement was made:

"The markets in which we operate continue to be challenging, however the Group has made a very encouraging start to the current year. Our revenue earning teams have each made a positive contribution to the Group's performance during the current period. Despite the weak market for IPO's and other fundraisings, we have raised over £190 million for our clients so far this year and our pipeline remains encouraging. We have also successfully completed our first IPO for some time, floating CSF Group plc and the Company has also been appointed as the Broker and Sponsor of the Fidelity China Special Situations plc. It is the view of the directors of the Company that the diversification of income streams, our growing franchise and the flexible cost base which is highly geared to performance will allow the Company to continue to be cash generative and to trade profitably in the current markets"
