the Company received notification on 18 April 2000 that on that day Paddy
Doyle, a director of the Company, exercised options to subscribe for 75,000
ordinary shares at a price of 49p per ordinary share.

The Company has been advised that later that day Mr Doyle sold 75,000 ordinary
shares at an average price of 1382.89p per share.
