                   Saint Gobain to distribute Gatic Slotdrain

Elkington GATIC, an Alumasc Building Products company, announces the appointment
of Saint Gobain as the Continental European distributor of its highly innovative
and internationally patented GATIC Slotdrain system. GATIC Slotdrain is a
durable line drainage system that offers significant cost saving benefits over
traditional drainage products.

The appointment of Saint Gobain is a key element in Elkington GATIC's strategic
plan to develop the Continental European and international markets for GATIC
Slotdrain and to build on its UK success where annual sales growth has averaged
50% over the past four years.

Elkington GATIC is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high
performance engineered access cover systems, which have been successfully traded
under the GATIC brand for more than 70 years. GATIC is an acronym for Gas
AirTight Inspection Covers.

Saint Gobain is a producer, processor and distributor of glass, ceramics,
plastics and cast iron products, with an annual turnover of 35 billion Euros. It

Elkington GATIC and Saint Gobain are confident that the GATIC Slotdrain
distribution agreement will emulate the success they have enjoyed with the
Pametic 2 by GATIC range of engineered access covers, where sales in Continental
Europe have trebled since the appointment of Saint Gobain as Continental
European distributor two years ago.
