Purchase of shares for cancellation

Unicorn AIM VCT plc announces that on 30 September 2009 it purchased 69,650
Ordinary Shares at a price of 42.5 pence per share and 119,444 Series 2 Shares
at a price of 56.5 pence per share for cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 30,297,671 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence
each, 14,430,227 Series 2 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each and 4,958,036 Series
3 Ordinary Shares and 1 pence each in issue.
