Change of Name

Small Companies Dividend Trust plc (the "Company")

The Board announces that today the name of the Company has changed to Chelverton Small Companies Dividend Trust plc.

The change of name follows Chelverton Asset Management Limited recognition and strong investment performance in the Mid and Small cap arena. Chelverton manage in excess of £500m in this specialised area with four open and closed mandates for income and growth.

There is no change to the investment objectives or dividend policy of the trust. The stock exchange ticker will also remain the same SDV.L
