HSBC Holdings Plc notified the company on 17 October that as of 16 October 2008
it held voting rights in respect of 19,304,202 shares in the capital of the
company which represents 6.0% of the total voting rights in Bodycote plc as at
that date (5.96% on 9 October 2008).
