US crude oil inventories rise by 0.6m barrels

US commercial crude oil inventories increased by 0.6 million barrels in the week ending 8 February.
The US Energy Information Administration says that at 372.2 million barrels, crude oil inventories are well above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year.
Total motor gasoline inventories decreased by 0.8 million barrels last week but remained in the upper limit of the average range.
Finished gasoline inventories increased while blending components inventories decreased last week.
Distillate fuel inventories decreased by 3.7 million barrels last week and are below the lower limit of the average range for this time of year.
Propane/propylene inventories decreased by 2.5 million barrels last week, but remained well above the upper limit of the average range.
Total commercial petroleum inventories decreased by 7.4 million barrels last week.
