Analytik Jena expects sales and earnings growth

Analytik Jena expects another sales and earnings increase for the current financial year 2011-12.
The company forecasts consolidated sales of approximately �?¬91.0m to �?¬93.0m.
Analytik Jena wants to achieve more than �?¬6.0m in operating profit (EBIT) at the end of the period.
In the 2010/-11 financial year, the company generated consolidated sales of �?¬86.3m and EBIT of �?¬5.0m.
Chief executive Klaus Berka said: "Overall, we are satisfied with business in the first half of the year.
"We managed to make up for the weaker performance of the first quarter and have clearly exceeded the previous year's level already half-way through the year.
"Improving business in Japan contributed particularly to this.
"We anticipate a continuation of this in the second half of the year."
