Mining season starts at Anglesey's 26%-held LIM James Mine

The mining season at Anglesey Mining's 26%-owned Labrador Iron Mines' James Mine began on 2 April and full scale mining operations are now under way.
The first loaded iron ore train departed Silver Yards on 4 April for the Port of Sept-Iles travelling over the TSH and QNS&L railways.
It is expected that mining operations at the James North and James South deposits will continue until November at a planned rate of approximately 15,000 tonnes of ore per day, using conventional open-pit mining methods and, where necessary employing standard drilling and blasting practices.
