Turf TV renews long-term contract with William Hill

Timeweave is pleased to announce that William Hill Organization Limited ('William Hill') has become the first customer to renew a long-term contract with Amalgamated Racing Ltd ('AMRAC'), Timeweave's joint venture company and owner of television channel Turf TV.

The early renewal of the long-term contract will allow William Hill to provide Turf TV's exclusive 'through-the-card' live coverage of every horse race meeting from 31 of the 59 British racecourses in all of William Hill's 2,370 betting shops.

The agreement, which runs until 2018, is Turf TV's first renewed contract with a major UK-based bookmaker.

Timeweave CEO and AMRAC Board Director, David Craven, said:

"William Hill is an important customer of Turf TV representing around 25% of the Licensed Betting Office market. William Hill continues to place the interests of its customers first in securing a renewal of the Turf TV service, providing coverage of the UK's leading horse racing meetings through to 2018. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with William Hill and providing our leading product to its licensed betting shops in the UK and Ireland."

Ralph Topping, CEO for William Hill, added:

"We are the first major bookmaker to re-sign with Turf TV. This agreement will ensure that, over the next few years, our customers will be able to watch quality racing from some of Britain's best racecourses, when having a bet with the UK's best bookmaker."
