It is with great sadness that the Company announces the death of Lord Leonard Steinberg, Non-Executive Director, who died suddenly on the night of 2 November 2009. 

Lord Steinberg served as a director of the Company since 1 February 2008 and the Board would like to record its sincere gratitude for the valuable contribution and support he gave to the Company during this period.

"The whole of the Board are greatly shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely death of Lord Steinberg, who was an invaluable member of our Board. Lord Steinberg made an invaluable contribution to the continuing development of Medgenics and supported the Company enormously over the last two years. He will be greatly missed by everyone at the Company. Our sincere condolences go to his wife and family at this sad time".
