LONDON, January 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Actix, the recognized leader in mobile
Network Status Management systems,
today announced that Actix China has opened a new office in Beijing. The new
Actix office will be located at Junefield Plaza, Beijing and will host the
infrastructure for Actix to demonstrate and support local implementations of
the Actix One enterprise solution for the Chinese telecoms market.
Minister of Industry and Information Technology, Li Yizhong predicted
that carriers would invest CNY280 billion ($41 billion) in developing 3G
networks over the next two years and this has been reflected in the
exponential growth rate in Chinese telecommunications. The recent issue of 3G
licences will leave operators struggling to control their network
infrastructure and with the boom in subscribers, Actix will see a huge
increase in demand for Network Status Management from operators making large
investment in new 3G networks.
"The opening of the new office coincides with the latest allocation of
the 3G licenses and comes in time for upcoming developments in the industry,
such as the increase in 3G services," says Alex Hawker, Actix CEO. "Beijing
is one of the key centres of telecommunications in China, and this expansion
allows Actix to continue to develop our enterprise class products and be able
to work closely with our customer and partners in the Chinese market".
Actix China was established in 2001 and has since continued to grow. In
China's actively growing and dynamic environment, the new office emphasises
Actix' presence and reflects its prominent position as the leader in Network
Status Management and automated network optimization in the Asian market.
The new Actix office in Beijing is located centrally on the new
International Media Avenue, close to the Financial Street, Xidan commercial
zone and Tiananmen Square with easy access to local transport links. The
office is situated minutes away from the headquarters of all major Chinese
customers and partners.
