£2.5 million Contract Extension with Costa Coffee
Alphameric, the provider of software solutions for the Leisure and Hospitality
sectors, announces that Costa Coffee has extended its current contract with
Alphameric Hospitality for a further two years from March 2009 to March 2011.
The contract extension has an expected value in excess of £2.5 million.
Under the agreement Alphameric Hospitality will continue to deliver Caterwide,
its web based ERP solution, together with tilling and services to Costa's
existing and planned new shops in the UK and Ireland.
The contract, originally awarded to Alphameric Hospitality in 2002, covers web
based ordering, stock control, MIS, cash management, EPOS tilling and a web
based time and attendance module.
Ben Wishart, CIO of Whitbread (parent company of Costa Coffee), said,
