                          BOARD AND MANAGEMENT CHANGES





Grove Energy Limited ('Grove' or 'Company') (TSX-V & AIM: GRV), the oil and gas
exploration company with assets in Europe and the Mediterranean Margin, is
pleased to announce the following board and management changes, with immediate
effect, to help better manage the Company's future growth.

•        Appointment of Glenn Whiddon as Executive Chairman

•        Appointment of Dr. Wolfgang Zimmer as Chief Executive Officer

•        Appointment of Dr. Matthew Sutcliffe as non executive director

•        Appointment of Dr. Werter Paltrineri as Country Manager, Italy.

Mr. Whiddon has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company
since 18 September 1996 and is pleased to be transferring the role of Chief
Executive Officer to Dr. Zimmer who joined Grove on 13 March 2006 as a Director
and President of the Company.  As Executive Chairman, Mr. Whiddon will retain
responsibility for the Company's capital markets activities.  As Chief Executive
Officer, Dr. Zimmer assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management of the
Company.

Dr. Matthew Sutcliffe B.Eng., (Hons.), Ph.D, C.Eng., MIMM has been newly
appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company.  He will also be a member of
the Company's Audit and Compensation Committees. Dr. Sutcliffe, aged 40, will
hold office until at least the next Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders
of the Company.  Dr. Sutcliffe is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of Alexander Mining plc an AIM listed resource company.  For the past 10
years Dr. Sutcliffe has had a very successful career as an investment analyst
and financier in The City of London directly responsible for financing a number
of AIM listed exploration and production companies. A Chartered Mining Engineer
with a Ph.D in Mining Engineering, Dr. Sutcliffe is also a Member of the
Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.

Dr. Werter Paltrineri has assumed responsibility for Grove's activities in
Italy, including advancing the Abbadesse Field development.  Dr. Paltrineri, a
graduate of Bologna University, is a Professor of Geology at Chieti University
and brings over 30 years of Italian oil and natural gas exploration and
management experience to the Company.  Dr. Paltrineri has co-authored numerous
articles on structural geology and for the last 10 years was the Italian
Exploration Manager for British Gas plc. Dr. Paltrineri was awarded 200,000
options to purchase common shares of no par value in the share capital of the
Company.  These options are exercisable until 1 December 2011 at a price of
$0.67.  One third of these options vested upon award, one third will vest on 1
December 2007 and one third will vest on 1 December 2008.

Glenn Whiddon, Executive Chairman commented,

'The transfer of day-to-day management responsibility to Wolfgang Zimmer
reflects the transition of Grove from an explorer to a producer, with two proven
undeveloped assets which will benefit from Wolfgang's operational and management
expertise.  Dr. Sutcliffe is well known and respected in the investment
community and his appointment will greatly strengthen our board.  Dr. Paltrineri
will make a valuable contribution to our development program at Abbadesse and
particularly to our ongoing exploration efforts within Italy and the Sicily
Channel.'



In accordance with Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules, the following
additional information in relation to the appointment of Dr. Matthew Leslie
Sutcliffe to the Grove Board, is required to be disclosed.
