Manchester Building Society Appoints President
Following his retirement as Chairman last April, Michael Dunham has been
appointed to the honorary position of President of Manchester Building Society.
The appointment is in recognition of his stewardship of the Society as a
director for 30 years, and, from 1996-2006. as Chairman.
Current Chairman John Bee commented
'Michael has made an immense contribution to the Society over the years. The
appointment reflects the Board's appreciation of what Michael has achieved and
ensures his continuing association.'
Michael Dunham responded
'I am delighted to accept the position of Society President. The Society's
performance in recent years has been amongst the most impressive within the
building society sector. I am confident that it will continue to go from
strength to strength.'
