                     Award of additional Liverpool licence

Stanley Leisure plc announces that Liverpool magistrates have granted a new
licence to one of its subsidiaries under the 1968 Act for a 30,000 square foot
casino in Liverpool's city centre.  This will be the Stanley Group's third
casino in Liverpool.

Stanley expects to open this casino, which is budgeted to cost £8m to fit out,
towards the end of 2007.

Stanley Leisure is the largest casino operator in Great Britain with 44 casinos,
of which four are in London.  In addition, Stanley Group was granted a licence
for a new casino in Nottingham in January 2006.  Stanley Group is progressing
with a further four new licence applications for additional casinos in the
provinces and one new licence application in respect of a relocation in London.
It is also submitting applications for a further three certificates of consent.
